CLI::UI::Prompt.ask produces non-printable char about cli-ui

I was unable to reproduce the issue by using my macOS/iTerm2/tmux with SSH into a ubuntu 18.04/bash, but it might only be reproducible via gnome-terminal.

Looks like you’re also using a ui frame. Could you share a minimal code snippet that reproduces the behaviour?

It may indeed be terminal specific. I can reproduce it with this example in gnome-terminal and xfce4-terminal (both under gnome3)

CLI::UI::Prompt.ask('Q?') do |h|
  h.option('A') { '' }
  h.option('B') { '' }
end

Testing with xterm under gnome3 it does not happen.

Does CLI::UI.raw { print(CLI::UI::ANSI.end_of_line) } print the character?

Yes, indeed it does.

print(CLI::UI::ANSI.end_of_line) by itself does too, without wrapping it in CLI::UI.raw. I don't know if that's in any way significant, but there it is.
