According to the latest thesis guidelines

The following sequence for the thesis organization should be followed:
(i) Preliminaries
(ii) Text of Thesis
(iii) References and Bibliography
(iv) Appendices

The preliminaries consists the following in the sequence as mentioned below:
• Title Page
• Certificates
• Acknowledgement and/or Dedication
• Table of Contents
• List of Figures, Tables, Illustrations
• Symbols used
• Preface

Requirements:

• 1. Shift "Preface" after ToC, Lists
