Description

Fun-time is a game searching app that would allow gamers to search for games on different criteria such as genre, name or release date. when the user does a search then it will render number of games related to their search enquiry. Here is the deployed app link Fun Time

Installation

To use this Web App you do not need to install any software or tool.You just need a browser and internet connection to visit this website.

Usage

To use our page, simply enter your preffered game genre or tag which describes the type of game you are looking for and click 'Search' and a list of results will be presented to you below.

Under your list of results, there is a section which shows other recommended titles.

feature/filters

User Story:

I want to filter games for the user according to alphabetical and released date.

Acceptance Criteria:

It is done when user choose the options from dropdown menu and display games according to it.

I want to make sections where i can show games.

It is done when i make section by using cards so i can display games on it.

I want to show more games in our home page.

I want to show games from two different Apis.

Acceptance Criteria:

It is done when both Apis will return games and display them in our home page.

Game details page

User Story:

As a user we need game details page in which we can see more screenshots and detail information about a game.

Acceptance criteria:

It is done when we have a structured html page where user can see all details about a specific game.

We'd like to outline the skeleton for the HTML page and include some features so that we can build off of it with JS.

It is done when I've included a,

• Nav-Bar [ ]

• Hero/Banner section with search bar and filter button nested inside

• Section with result of searched game thumbnail image (left-hand side) and a property description of the game (on right-hand side)

• Bottom of page will have thumbnail of game recommendations

First Api research

User Story:

I want to show games to the user and filter games by name, rating and and released dates.

Acceptance criteria:

• It is done when i found Api that shows random games in home page
• It is done when our Api that can do search by game name
• It is done when i filter the games with game names, rating and released dates.
