how to correct for magnetic variation

sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...

i am trying to "calibarate" my magnetic heading to display as true north. my heading sensor is on my n2k network. my chartplotter automatically applies the magnetic.variation (in my case 15.6 deg or .2722 rad) to the magnetic heading.

how do i use signalk/calibration to apply a .2722 radian offset to the navigation.headingMagnetic path?

i have tried this 2 point calibration.. but dont see any change to the output

Understanding the correct path

Sorry if this is not a bug but user confusion & wrong place to post but:

Data Browser shows:
navigation.attitude { "yaw": null, "pitch": -0.009, "roll": -0.1584 }

REST URL: http://localhost:3000/signalk/v1/api/vessels/self/navigation/attitude/value/roll
returns: -0.1584

So I've set a path in the calibration config to (and tried many others):
navigation/attitude/value/roll

And added 3 mapping points to correct for tilt of orientation/heading sensor
but the value never calibrates/corrects.

Bug or user error? Probably the latter ... thanks.

Suppress values

Could I use this to suppress all values - for instance I have a magnetic variation that is coming in with the incorrect value (can't trace it down yet). I would like to turn all values to zero. Could I use this plug in to do that?
