A quick search did not turn up anything very useful that would make adding them very easy.
You can help along by adding here any links to documentation and how to get some sample chart data to develop with. That will make starting actual implementation sometime in the future that much easier.

From what I could find and personally seen with my CHS provided BSB v3 charts, they're just composed of .KAP chart files.
OpenSeaMap provides KAP charts for free at https://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/misc/openstreetmap/openseamap/charts/kap/
I hope this helps.
As for implementation i think that this could help: https://github.com/nohal/imgkap
This allows for the conversion of KAP charts to images and vice versa.
I hope all of this helps!
