HOTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

INTRODUCTION

The Hotel Management System is a project that allows users to manage activities for a hotel from a single online system.

Purpose

Hotel management system is a project that aims to meet the basic needs of a basic hotel and facilitate the management of these needs.This hotel management provides a broad perspective on how the system should work and what is expected of the user. The customer's expectations and requests are analyzed and functional and non-functional requirements are determined accordingly. Thus, a system can be built with a clean understanding.

Requirements

Functional Requirements

The system should allow Customers to book any type of room(single, double, deluxe, suite) they want.
The customer can make a reservation for the available room on any date.
Customers can check for room availability.
Customer able to cancel their booking or modify it.
Customers can make a restaurant reservation for any date, which is also suitable for the system, or they can provide their general food needs with food ordering.
Receptionist can access customers' reservation information.
Receptionist able to add ,delete and modify customer's reservation informations.
Receptionist be able to access the availability of the selected room.
Receptionist can able to access payment information about reservations.
Manager can access and modify information about employees.
Manager able to change cost and category information about rooms. 2
The system gives an error message when the password is entered incorrectly when the login process is done.

Non-Functional Requirements

Customer should be able to pay their payment selection with cash or credit card.
Easy to use, efficient, and accessible.
System should be compatible, function well when other applications are running on a devices.
Data in txt file should be updated as soon as user’s register themselves.
