node-dirstream's Issues

pipe to process.stdout doesn't work

Yo!

var d = dirstream(path)
d.pipe(process.stdout)

doesn't work as expected - nothing get printed out.

It seem that process.stdout will emit 'drain' before the files have been initialized in dirstream, then d.resume() get called, then d._stream() get called when files.length === 0.

Here's also a test (that failes) that tests the same behaviour.

  test('Pipe works.', function (done) {
    var d = new dirstream(path);
    var piped = 0;
    var stream = new (require('stream'));
    stream.writable = true;
    stream.write = function(file) {
      piped++;
    }
    stream.end = function() {
      assert(piped, 5, 'Piped count wrong.');
      done();
    }
    d.pipe(stream);
    stream.emit('drain');
    // or
    // d.resume();
  });
