In order to avoid the issue, you need to replace the textField creation with the following line

self.textField = [[UITextField alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(2_kXMargin + kIconSize, kYMargin, boundsWidth - 4_kXMargin - 2*kIconSize, textFieldHeight)];

Notice the 4_kXMargin and the 2_kIconSize. The width of the textField should not overlap the clear button

I get this error: failed with exit code 255

I tested the code before i insert in my project and it worked. However, when inputed in the project, this error comes up.. do you happen to know why?

I really like this control, but it's great to keep up with changes made via Cocoapods. If you need, I can create one and file a pull request if you want, but then you would have to submit it to the Cocoapods repo.
