Firstly I'd like to say this is exactly what I've been looking for b/c I've had zero idea on where to start on making my owns, so thank you very much!
However, my question is that-- how did you know what to use and why? Have you had experience with a program similar to this? Through my research I've only gotten as far as "i need to use x11, ffmpeg, and webrtc"

any other alternatives?

Maybe even use nc directly instead of piping through regular cat, experiments will happen
