gulp-esformatter's Issues

gulp-esformatter much slower than gulp-beautify

I'm comparing gulp-esformatter to gulp-beautify using the following tasks in my gulpfile.js:

var gulp = require('gulp');
var _ = require('lodash');
var beautify = require('gulp-beautify');
var esformatter = require('gulp-esformatter');
var present = require('present');

gulp.task('tests', function() {
  global.counter = 0;
  global.values = [];

  global.t0 = present();
  runFormatter();
});

function runFormatter() {
  return gulp.src('./app/**/*js')
            // .pipe(beautify({indent_size: 4}))
            .pipe(esformatter({indent: {value: '    '}}))
            .pipe(gulp.dest('./__temp'))
            .on('finish', finishCb);
}

function finishCb() {
  global.t1 = present();
  global.values.push(global.t1 - global.t0);
  global.counter++;
  console.log('\nPass ' + global.counter);

  if(global.counter >= 10) {
    // Finish, print results
    var avg = _.sum(global.values) / global.values.length;
    console.log('\nNumber of runs: ' + global.values.length);
    console.log('Recorded results: ' + global.values);
    console.log('Average time: ' + avg + '\n');
  } else {
    console.log('Running again...');
    global.t0 = present();
    runFormatter();
  }
}

My average time results:

esformatter: 17243 ms
beautify: 2071 ms

In every case, esformatter runs much slower then beautify. What could cause esformatter to be so slow? The results are about the same even if I place my config inside a .esformatter file or in my package.json file.
