Is there a way to automatically add (hidden) anchor tags to h1, h2 etc. Would be useful to create a navigation. Markdown is often used for Readme files or documentations.

I tried something like:

Markdom::toHtml('do_something bla bla bla')

But then it converted to do<em>something bla bla bla</em> which will looks like dosomething bla bla bla.

Been tried to using backslash like this:

Markdom::toHtml('do\_something bla bla bla')

It converted as is do\_something bla bla bla instead of what I expect it to be do_something bla bla bla

I tried change the configurations parser
use_underscore and enable_em to false but still the same. Am I missing something?

How can I force it to allow double line breaks, or more. No matter how many line breaks I add it only inserts one <br>
