DIVA

Modeling Language for Dynamic Variability

Requirements

  • Eclipse 4.2 (might work with other versions)
  • EMF

Compile and run

  • import all projects (except feature) into Eclipse
  • run those plugins as an Eclipse configuration
  • it should open another Eclipse where those plugins are activated

Alloy freezes

I am trying to parallelize the execution of Alloy. I thus run n Alloy commands (each of them working on a distinct module) in parallel, where n is the number of available logical cores (4 in my case, for 2 CPUs with HyperThreading). In this context, Alloy sometimes freezes (with one or several core running at 100%) and it seems difficult to properly stop a running (frozen) command...

Provide REST API

Provide REST API to manipulate the model and run the simulator, to enable the usage of DiVA in a "cloud" settings

Use Maven

Use Maven for the continuous integration of DiVA:

  • builds and tests on our build server
  • generation of an Eclipse update site
