In the Installation instructions in README.md around number 3.
I think you should add that you copy the web.config from the site as well. (could have saved me some hours...)

Having all kinds of problems getting this set up. web.config publishes over but is missing all kinds of entries. Working with a basic sitecore web.config and updating element by element. Remaining problem is simply "Cannot read sitecore configuration" when trying to get to /sitecore/shell, after publishing, even before attempting any web.config edits

I got unable to resolve message and item did not appear under the home after perform initial serialize

I'm experiencing some difficulty implementing Sitecore-Community/sample-sitecore-mvc solution available in https://github.com/Sitecore-Community/sample-sitecore-mvc

I can able to reach Installation point Upto 6 Successfully.

and also I'm done with Unicorn.aspx - Sync Default Configuration Now clicked and synchronized items with Sitecore. (commend line below finished) again Reserialize Default Configuration Now because of error suspect one more time RUN

But when I launch my website like ex : http://sitecoremvc am getting error.

Please help me to bring the website on the browser. waiting for reply.
