Search movies

  • Cache movies obtained from the API in a caching db like Redis to limit the number of requests made to external API

User profile

  • Add functionality for user profiles, where the user can at least udpate his/her name.
  • Display some of the user's details in the navbar.

Add movie to favorites

  • Add favorited movie details into the database for user.
  • Change synchronous request to asyncronous. Provide a proper response message if the movie is added to favorites or in case it is a duplicate and failed.

Landing page

Add a landing page that will provide an overview of the most favorited/anticipated movie by all users. (thus count the times the titles occur in the db)

Also display the number of times a movie has been favorited/anticipated in the movie template.
