info343-final-project's Issues

Reference thumbnail.extension instead of .jpg

I haven't looked at all of the thumbnails, but I don't think they're all .jpg files. We should reference API thumbnails as {{thumbnail.name}} + "." + {{thumbnail.extension}}. May seem a bit unnecessary but will guarantee no issues when loading images.

Update ReadMe to reflect all changes

App changed a bit since its conception. Make sure the readme reflects that. Also include links to marvels' website as it says to do on their websites terms and conditions. (Do this on the "about" page on the actual website as well.)

change tempArray in detail

Currently, cards and details use tempArray.
change tempArray to completeArray when firebase is applied

Test that ALL features work

Test both that expected input and unexpected input work and doesn't break anything. Don't be afraid to mash buttons, type really fast for the games, sign in with wrong credentials, etc. Breaking it is good because we can fix it before class.

  • Creating an account
  • Signing in with an existing account
  • Both games add cards
  • Leaderboards update appropriately
  • User images are saved and displayed
  • Camera works (with and without masks!)
  • Editing an existing accounts info works
  • Mobile First design works (test on screen sizes)
  • Accessibility is ok
  • Push to live server goes smoothly
  • Other?

Write About Page

Maybe include some stuff about what the site is (cards + game + pictures + leaderboard), how it works, the creators (us?) and references to the Marvel API / frameworks / libraries we used?

Add more styles

If we have time we should beautify everything. Looks a bit plain right now. Totally on an as-time-allows basis. Not priority #1.
