go-micro-example's Introduction

Sean K Smith

Hey! I'm Sean. I really enjoy fiddling around with different little coding projects and learning about the craft of programming. I'm currently reading through Building Event-Driven Microservices by Adam Bellemare, and working on a side-project creating a reference microservice architecture to both help me learn and teach event-driven microservice design.

go-micro-example's Issues

Refactor User / Password Stuff

There's some strange stuff going on with mapping PlainTextPassword and password, etc. It could be simplified, give it another pass.

Reduce Structuring

The service in general has an overabundance over "structure" for what is otherwise a simple project. See about consolidating.

Use http Status Codes

In a few places there are hard coded status codes (for example 400) rather than using the http package status codes. Find them and swap it out.
