Hi, I am working on a PHP lemmatizer as well for an NLP project. Perhaps we should combine knowledge/effort. You seem to have a good start. Mine is really basic, but generally doing the job of producing real words.

I was testing this and I found out that "wives" was not translating to "wife" because "wives" is defined in the noun list and the verb list. "wives" is not a verb so I removed it from that list on my copy and it now works.

I would normally submit a PR to fix this for you but I'm extremely backed up on work right now so I dont have spare time. Its a quick fix at least.

I was expecting $lemmatizer->getLemmas('1') to return same 1 or error, but instead it gives ["floreant.", "floreat"]
Probably should check if it's number and then don't try to fetch it from word list...

In composer.json this line
"php": "^5.6"
won't allow a PHP 7 install. Perhaps
"php": ">=5.6"

would do the trick, as I don't see anything that would stop it working in PHP 7.
