awaitable-task's Introduction

awaitable_task

description

A work-stealing tasking system implementation for C++11 and later based on awaitable tasks: tasks whose arguments depend on the results obtained from std::future objects. The implementation is inspired in part by Sean Parent's "Better Code: Concurrency" talk; link to [Sean's blog] (http://sean-parent.stlab.cc.). This implementation is part of the dsa (data structures and algorithms) library.

dependencies

Compiler support for C++11 or later.
