Hi @tenaz3, thanks for asking the question!
if it's possible to customize the screen and ask for a user to choose a channel to Bot post messages.
If not, after installing the App, how to popup a modal to force user to setup the configurations for the application to work properly with slack?
Unfortunately, both are not feasible. So, our recommendation is to let your app's bot user send a DM message with a button to open a modal to the user who installed the app.
I know this is not a great answer for you, but I hope this clarifies!
