When trying to write to eeproms using the configuration in the screen shot, the serial number is being written into the original quantity field. Not really a deal breaker, but strange.

Everything seemed fine until I connected the Arduino to the software and pressed read, then the software froze and nothing happened...
Has anyone encountered this or know how to find the problem?

Add configuration for settings that need to be changed by device type. E.g. Timeouts, waits, connection speed, etc.

Just a small issue where white P400 ABS (ABS_WHT) and white P430 ABSplus (P430_WHT) are not available under the Material drop down list. Great program, keep up the good work!

I don't understand the Fox, Fox2 etc. How do they refer to models?

Your project is very good it help us all with the reading and re-writting of our eeproms...

Do you think it is possible to update the libraries?
they have another machines added as well some code updates.

I made the mistake of reading from a working chip and trying to write the data to different one. Now the chip is corrupted and reading it causes CartridgeWriter to crash. Is there a way to write a "good" configuration to the eprom? I do have the original .bin files, so I know the eprom ID.

Every time I try to set the manufacturing date so something other it uses 39 instead of 20

I´ve setup everything (Arduino + Libs/Proxy and compiled the new CartridgeWriter.exe including the Uprint/UprintSE printer. But it does not work with the eeprom taken from a HP Designjet 3D cartridge.
Any chance that such HP branded stratasys printers (mono and color) can be added to the printer list in CartridgeWriter?

I have a stratsys mojo, how can i use this code to reset those cartridges? What would be the procedure to dind the drm and reset it?

Although Arduino IDE can select my Arduino as Com3 and it's listed as com3 in Device manager, I still do not see com3 in CartridgeWriter.

Any ideas why?

I follow the step in README.md. Install "teensyduino" and add "onewireproxy. ino" in Arduino. and Wire Arduino to DS2433 chip. but after Press the Read button, "CartridgeWriter. exe" just crash, why? My way to differentiate ground pin and data pin of Uprint's chip is form this issues: bvanheu/stratatools#21

Handle exceptions so CartridgeWriter does not crash.

Add WriteTimeout to the Serial connection so application does not appear to hang. Trap exception and handle it gracefully.

Add ability to load data from a DS2433 backup file when Read is pressed so that backup file contents can be written back to the DS2433.

When selecting uprint the program Cartridge Writer sends er 0 0 0 128 instead of er 0 0 128

Add some sort of status field that displays the actions being performed by CartridgeWriter, especially during reading and writing. This will help in setup and troubleshooting.

hi, I have Uprint SE andi used cartridge writer program from riverfrontam. I used on model filament and worked well. Then , my support material was at %1 percent and i used read button and then pushed decrypt button and filled the support material but i forgot to change serial number part. Then after i load the support printer said cartridge is empty. I think machine has logs for serial numbers and didn't accept the %100 support material after changing. Do you have any suggestions for me ?
