Thanks for this tool. It is a great (dotnet-native) alternative than jq or Octopus Deploy for CICD.

Sometimes you want to configure a key to be blank (string.Empty). The tool doesn't allow to set in these scenarios. It would be good if you could take care of this also.

Thank you for the tool.

It is nice to have the ability to set nonexisting properties.

Use case:

echo "{}" >> appsettings.json

dotnet json set Property PropertyValue

The tool fails to merge arrays by replacing many array elements with null in the merged output.

It would be great if this tool allowed to quickly load the content of a file and saved it as "indented".

Example:

Given sample.json

{"hello":"world","answer": 42}

dotnet json indent sample.json

{
  "hello": "world",
  "answer": 42
}
