musdr's Issues

midi2csv

according to your answer,I successfully change midi to remi, by! 'Compound-word-transformer' to switch midi file to event-based representation (pkl file). Would you tell me how to switch event-based representation (pkl file) to csv file?

1652095612(1)

what should I do next to get the needed csv?

convert midi file to csv

I want to evaluate midi files with your repo, but the csv format in testdata/symbolic confuses me. How should I convert midi (or remi/cp) into the required csv format? Is there a script to do so?

Something wrong with inference.py, the output file can't be played normally

As I follow the instructions to compose music

I got this log output:

Start model inference...

generated 6460 events
First 20 events: ['Part-Start_I', 'Rep-Start_1', 'Bar', 'Position_0/64', 'Tempo-Class_0', 'Tempo_67.50', 'Position_16/64', 'Tempo-Class_0', 'Tempo_65.00', 'Position_32/64', 'Tempo-Class_0', 'Tempo_67.50', 'Position_48/64', 'Tempo-Class_0', 'Tempo_62.50', 'Position_55/64', 'Phrase', 'MLU-Type_lick', 'MLU-Subtype_lick-general', 'Backref-Referred']

now converting events to MIDI: ./output/test.mid ...

It did generate midi file in output dir, but the file can't be played in normal player. It seems like the writing file stage makes something wrong ...

Generate symbolic music from audio/midi

Hello, I came across some error while trying to run all evaluation metrics on my own audios for "{myaudio}_remi.csv" did not exist. How exactly should "{myaudio}_remi.csv", the same symbolic format as in musdr/testdata, be generated?

Audio formats——.midi or .mp3

Hello, thank you very much for your work, it is very meaningful, but I have some questions to seek your answers.
In the inference. py in Jazz Transformer, the final generation is the audio in .midi format, but in the final presentation and objective evaluation (MUSDR) you gave all the audio in .mp3 format. Is it necessary to do this? If so, how do you implement the midi to mp3 format conversion?
Looking forward to your reply.

Academic consult/query for event-based representations

Hello, thank you very much for your work, it is very meaningful, but I have some questions about event-based representations to seek your answers. I want to know whether the representations must include all types of events(Note-related Events, Metric-related Events, Chord-related Events and Structure-related Events) in the paper? Can the objective evaluation metrics be applied to your previous work remi (https://github.com/YatingMusic/remi) and cp(https://github.com/YatingMusic/compound-word-transformer)?
