What is Smartcash?

Smartcash is an experimental digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone, anywhere in the world. Smartcash uses peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority: managing transactions and issuing money are carried out collectively by the network. Smartcash Core is the name of open source software which enables the use of this currency.

Development Process

The master branch is regularly built and tested, but is not guaranteed to be completely stable. Tags are created regularly to indicate new official, stable release versions of Bitcoin Core.

The contribution workflow is described in CONTRIBUTING.md.

android's Issues

V 0.1.4 alpha

When inserting comma instead of period in the balance field to be sent the application closes.

You cannot send the total portfolio balance to zero balance. For example I sent 0.5 smart and could only withdraw 0.491 including the fee, the correct would be to withdraw 0.499 including the fee. The balance in the wallet was 0.008 smart which cannot be sent due to the following message "no value for message".

0.1.3 kicks you out to desktop on login

App installs, loads, then after entering login details then you click enter button. it kicks out out of the app to the desktop. if you check open apps it remains in the list, if you select it its back on the login screen. if you re-enter your login details, the above process repeats.

tested on Samsung S9+ on Android 9 and Sony Experia XZ Premium same behavior on both

Continue without pin dialog message, confusing...

on login when you click to continue without pin. you are presented with a dialog
"Are you sure you want to proceed without PIN ? You wont be able to use it off-line"

the second part of this message "You wont be able to use it off-line" appears ambiguous.

It infers that without a pin you cannot use it offline? which leaves the user asking the question why? if the pin has no link to usage offline then this should be reworded. if having a pin does allow offline usage, then it should be reworded to something like "for offline use a pin is required etc"

Error send

1 After entering the amount and address and clicking send, the application is ends.

2 When trying to send the application again it informs that the balance exceeds.

3 When entering amount the second field in smart remains at value 0

Login delay

wallet address icon colour is not the same between webwallet and android app

The color icon for each wallet address differs for the same account between android app and webwallet. this could cause user issues. ether use different icon/colors or align them between the two applications.

Custom name on register

Does not create record with names other than those generated with what is already in the record.
you can create user like "[email protected]".

This is not possible example "cat123".
When you try to sign in with this form of user, the application terminates.

login 2FA

With Login 2FA, during send of the Smartcash the app close but the transfer takes place.

send screen contacts blank no labels for spend or rewards 1

on the send screen when you click on contacts. it shows a 3 wallets but no icon or text for spend or rewards 1 . only rewards 2 has label text this only appeared on the Sony experia Z but not the Samsung galaxy s9+ might be due to text sizing or padding between label and select button ?

Random error during login.

1 random error during login.
When entering login and password the application is loading and closes returning to the pin registration screen, if you try again the application works

2 When you click enter without pin, the application does not end, if you try again the application works.

on app load error message - "end of input character 0 of"

When you load the app, the following error message appears, then disappears.

"end of input at character 0 of" this error repeats for every load of the app.
tested on Samsung Galaxy S9+ and confirmed also on Sony Experia Z

Error using gyroscope

If you use the gyroscope on the transaction tabs and send, the application it will be closed.

When you click on the sending tab, after receiving it and then on the transaction tab the application closes.

global currency setting not persistent between logins

logged in then changed global currency from USD to SMART. logged out then logged in setting was back to USD instead of SMART.

PIN

If you have a pin registered and make a transaction, the balance does not update.

Entering amount does not show fee on the submit button

Login 2FA

Log in using 2FA and click on the transaction button and application closes.

Galaxy S9+ On load after setting pin will not let you in if using Pin

After setting a PIN on defualt account. on next load of app it asks for a pin. but will not allow you to click confirm if you enter PIN. if you leave it blank it will let you in.

Some bugs found

Sometimes a black screen appears in transition from login to registration.

Receipt symbol has to be down.

In the receive tab you enter the value and change the QR code.
The higher the value, the higher the points in the qr code.

After erasing the values ​​the amount in usd remains as 1 smart.

After changing currency conversion need to exit the wallet to upgrade.

After the new installation and registration of the pin the wallet lock

After the new pin installation and registration, the wallet locks and returns after a few moments
