Not working/installing

On ubuntu 22.04. was working fine before i upgraded (don't know what version i was on before)

Feature request: Indicate order position when not in overview

Thanks for this extension, I think it will be useful to me! :)

I have a feature request, not super important but would be neat.

When switching between workspaces outside of the overview, Gnome Shell (ver. 44) uses indicator dots that pops up. I'd like it if these were presented in the same way when reordering with this extension.

Desktop environment has become very laggy

Installed the extension via https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/3685/reorder-workspaces/, once installed the desktop environment has become laggy. Most noticeable when using a browser trying to switch tabs or navigating around a file explorer. Before the installation my desktop environment didn't have this issue.

Removing the extension hasn't actually fixed the problem, I've noticed that other users have reported the same problem. Any suggestions as to where the extension is located, perhaps i could scrub it manually and see if it fixes the lag.

gnome 41 support

You just need to add "40" to "shell-version" array inside metadata.json

v46

can you please update for 46. Thank you.

Animation of the transition freezing and hanging

The extension works great, but there is one but ...
After enabling this extension, the animation of the transition (input/output) in the view mode is very freezing and hanging.

Ubuntu 20.04
Gnome 3.36

Better integration with workspace names

Workspaces can be named through modifying the array org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences.workspace-names. When the order of workspaces is changed, this array should be modified accordingly.

Using Left and Right arrow

I love your extension. It's extremely useful. Unfortunately, they arrow keys assigned for moving the workspaces are very unintuitive: arrow up moves to the left, arrow down move to the right. Could you make it use left and right arrows? You could leave the up and down arrows as they are for the people who got used to using them, but add left and right arrow as well.

Reorder workspace on the window view

Thank you very much for this extension, it was exactly what I was looking for as I often put only one 1 window per workspace.

Right now the shortcuts only work from the workspace overview, would it be possible to enable it on the window view inside a workspace as well ? Maybe with a customizable shortcuts ?

Super key is not working in preferences

Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ

Great extension !
There is an issue with accelRow: it does not allow the Super key to be used as a composition key (I use Super for all DE management and I want to bind CTRL+Super+Alt+ Left|Right)

Note that after you tried to edit from the pref UI, the entry are available in dconf (schema is missing) and its possible to manually set it there, but the pref window don't update (doesn't seem binded), you need to close it and reopen
