homebridge-tuya-thermostat's Issues

Timeout waiting for status response from device id?

Describe Your Problem:
I have the tuya app with a single thermostat for underfloor heating, functioning well through the app on ios.
I have installed and setup 'Homebridge Tuya Platform' API, and configured this correctly. As such I am getting responses in Homebridge when making changes within the homebridge app:

TuyaOpenMQ onMessage: topic = cloud/token/in/99a5af2972c0d4890795e6a4a4785836, message = {"data":{"dataId":"3df9c3c2-dd94-4973-ab1b-0782d2d841ab","devId":"bf741165065e0e7cb68eta","productKey":"7qx0q329p61h1ace","status":[{"24":178,"code":"temp_current","t":"1642973848","value":178}]},"protocol":4,"pv":"2.0","sign":"4bdbedaab1e945b49bbcf34b6b085bc6","t":1642973848}

I have installed and setup 'Homebridge Tuya Thermostat' with the single device I have, collecting the devices ID and key from the CLI as per the instructions.

  • ID: bf741165065e0e7cb68eta
  • KEY:4bbcab7ca2965bb4

The thermostat is showing as a device, however I am getting the error:

[TuyaThermostatPlugin] device connection error {
  err: 'Timeout waiting for status response from device id: bf741165065e0e7cb68eta'

and the temp is permanently on 10C.

Logs:

As per the above, there is nothing really more to add?

Tuya Magnum Heating thermostat

Hello!

Can somebody help me? I have the Magnum Remote Controle thermostat , which is basically a Tuya device. So I thought this will work with Smart Life in combination with this plugin. But the device type of the MRC thermostat is not thermostat but MRC. I have the device also in de IoT / API tool and here also shows the device type "MRC". Does anyone know a way to bypass this?
