A docker container set is included in the repository under the .docker/ folder. Please use the following scripts in the scripts/ folder to start and build the container.

Remove Navigation and Main Menu blocks from Content Region in Admin Theme

For some reason, the nav and main menu blocks are in the content region in the admin theme. This causes conflicts with some admin interfaces (such as features).

Convert core titles to fields

Titles are required for nodes. This can be undesirable for Blog posts as users may wish to create short posts where a title isn't required.

Potential risk: Additional programming may be to map the new title field to the core title fields when migrating to Drupal 8.

Create Link Content Type

A link content type would allow users to share content they've found elsewhere, with the option to add commentary to that content.

Update Media Module to 2.x

Move docker related scripts to .docker directory.

This would help make it parallel with Dropwhale and improve DX.

jplayer not found in sites/all/libraries/jplayer

Use Drush make to bring in external dependencies

Currently, the site keeps all dependencies in the git repo. While this works, it is not best practice.

Instead, external dependencies should be brought in using Drush make. Drush now supports a YAML format (http://www.drush.org/en/master/make/) for make files. This will make it easier to manage dependencies in the future, and reduce the size of the git repo.
