solidus_trackers's Introduction

Solidus Trackers

CircleCI

A simple tracker implementation for Solidus.

  • Allows creation of trackers from the admin configuration panel

Installation

Add solidus_trackers to your Gemfile:

gem 'solidus_trackers'

Bundle your dependencies and run the installation generator:

bundle
bundle exec rails g solidus_trackers:install

Usage

Tracking requirements vary greatly between projects; it is difficult to provide an analytics extension that suits the specific needs of everyone. This extension provides a baseline implementation, however, you are encouraged to find a more robust tracking solution for your project.

Testing

First bundle your dependencies, then run rake. rake will default to building the dummy app if it does not exist, then it will run specs, and Rubocop static code analysis. The dummy app can be regenerated by using rake test_app.

bundle
bundle exec rake

When testing your application's integration with this extension you may use its factories. Simply add this require statement to your spec_helper:

require 'solidus_trackers/factories'

solidus_trackers's Issues

error in solidus 2.1.beta1 with solidus_tracker

I have this error running store frontend, due to solidus_tracker code. Could you help me?

"Directly inheriting from ActiveRecord::Migration is not supported." on install

I had a confusing time getting this installed on Rails 5. It looks like the migrations are not properly set to work with solidus_support.

It looks like the issue was introduced here:

eecce5a#diff-8261e5722470119bb36ac6ee74adc112R1

I originally thought this was the commit, more info here:

a5c86df#comments

I'd do this as a PR but I'm still fairly green on Rails / Solidus. Its just "looks like" this is the issue to me.
