the-star-wars-special-edition's Issues

Hey there, about City centers / tileset / map display of them

I started out looking into this mod 'cuz - (cool and) it displayed that pesky big question mark in my cities, something I had on my radar. Good test case? Strangely, more complicated. On my phone I get these big Question marks - meaning it pulled the default City center.png after no era-specific one matched, which is understood if your eras have different names. On desktop under Studio, a freshly founded city doesn't have a City center on its Tile... Huh?

So, can you help out understanding that, and what did you intend? Might be best knowing more before I try to debug why your image isn't pulled when I expect it to...

(
other than that: Cool. Needs Leader Portraits - and now Leader Voices!!! Pity it's so complicated getting media related to franchises that's under an open license... I have Deciv Leader Portraits here but won't dare publish it...

another thing: Did you know the era/nation-style image search is applied to hexagon and terrains too? You could make the Sith change their owned tile appearances...

Not a Issue

Just wanted to say made account just to Star this It's great If you would like a giant lore nerd to help out let me know I love this Mods idea but.. The Main issue I think that messed with the flow is the constant IF factor For all the buildings which is for almost everything it seems. while a good idea maybe tone it back and see how that works? The movement of units Feels Low and the progression of How You access certain units feels wrong but other than that And the issue with energy control but not to bad it's rather good! This is just my opinion but keep up the great work though I would suggest making The Buildings First then all the if factors Later instead to try and Expand the Tech tree
