sorry, in later version I used it and was working...but now in latest version the gcode not have code to display preview.... The pluging result installed...can you help me?

Installed ChituCodeWriter 1.0.5 via Cura Marketplace on latest on Ultimaker Cura 5.3.1 to see if it would work on my Tronxy XY-2 Pro with XY2-PRO-V1.32 firmware...
When saving the file using the Save as type "Chitu gcode" the 3D preview is not showing on the Printer's display.

Can you replicate and do a fix for it?

by chance really, i've had to fit new motherboards to the printers and it seems these run a newer firmware and picture no longer shows. printers report firmware version XY2-PRO-NT-V1.24 and Colorful 0.8.

Using UltiMaker-Cura 5.4.0 with current ChituCodeWriter 1.0.5 and the time is off by a full hour. Estimated time says 5h 45min for my project in the preview window but then in the monitor window it says print time of 6h 40mins. Not sure why the time is so far off, it does always take longer than than the estimated time but most of the time only by a few minutes. I get that it is an estimate but I rather have it estimate over what it is going to take and get done early to help better plan my time with it.

spannie have two diferent version of this software as far i know (dif name)

chitucodewriter(from marketplace) and chitumod(from random corner in github)

the stuff from github (chitumod) give you script in post processing section in cura it will show up in post processing

would it be possible to adapt it to PrusaSlicer please ?

I use it with a tronxy xy-2 pro (+ stock firmware).

I don't know if you know this software but it's easier to use than Cura. Here are some highlights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wy3u4DNh_XQ , but basically it's mainly more convenient because

• I can choose the facets on which I want the STL object to lie on the bed
• I can graphically edit the supports (enforce/block regions)

I prefer not to risk myself on this work, as I saw some import from UM.

thank you for this awesome plugin!

I would appreciate, to setup your plugin as the default gcode-writer in Cura. It is a little bit inconvenient, now, to click "Save", select
the SD-Card, select "chitu gcode",
save and than "open folder" to finally unmount the SD-Card.
The Cura default workflow for saving to SD-Card is much more intuitive.
