Remove use of maptools

This package has strong dependence on at least one of rgdal, rgeos or maptools, but does not seem to use any functionality in code. The usage may have been in raster, which now uses terra instead, or may be in examples or vignettes. Please move all use of rgdal, rgeos or maptools to Suggests: and protect any use against these packages not being present. The packages will be archived in October 2023. See https://r-spatial.org/r/2022/12/14/evolution2.html and https://rsbivand.github.io/csds_jan23/bivand_csds_ssg_230117.pdf and perhaps view https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlpjIqTPMCA&list=PLzREt6r1NenmWEidssmLm-VO_YmAh4pq9&index=1.

Problems about running the “exposure_estimate_simple” code!

When I try to use your code on my own data, I kept getting this error: "Error in FUN(X[[i]], ...) : object 'date.targrt' not found". No matter how I chang the name of the date or the format of the variable, this warning just can't be solved. I'm sure my pollutant data has cover all the individual'date.

Cannot run the demo code in your package(EnvExpInd)

I am unable to execute this line of code in the fuction"get_reference_data_idw()" : first_date = "date" , the warning message is "Error in get_refrence_data_idw(individual_data = individual_data_tem, : unused argument (frist_date = "date")".
The very same problem occured when I run the function "get_refrence_data_krige(first_date = "date").

I don't know how to fix that. I have installed all the packages required and make them loaded.

How to set the buffer radius for IDW?

I have run your code successfully, but how to set the buffer radius for IDW?
For example, I want to calculate the inverse distance weighted average of concentrations at all monitoring stations within 100 km of the corresponding home address.
