As side effect of the system wide Hybrid mode fix.

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but when I select an item on the sidebar of Finder, the section is a dark grey color. I will upload a picture of it so you can see what I mean. Let me know if it is something wrong I'm doing or if there is a fix for it. Thanks in advance!

First, thank you for this amazing work.
I patched transparency v1.1 (HIToolbox + CoreUI) , however, I found some glitches in the dark mode.

No spotlight select bar:
(The same happens with the other colors, i'm using gray to both)

Safari also:

There is a really small bug at the edges of the Safari autofill popover window:

Hi and thank you for a wonderful job.
In general, all seem to be working well. I made a list of some of the problems I encountered.

1. There is a glitch on the level indicators in light mode, this problem seems to be fixed in dark mode.
   
   

2. There is a really small bug at the bottom of the finder window, in light and drak mode.
   

3. A window becomes grey with a strange font in chrome google when you leave the mouse on an information like in the history
   

4. The search bar is transparent while the rest is not.
   

That's all I've met so far, well done for this job.

Will the bar be transparent in the future in dark mode or not?

there is another issue I’m experiencing and was hoping it might be fixed in hybrid v1.3 ;)

When using spotlight, I can’t read the selected result:

(Luckily the item-text is also displayed in the search field^^)

I patched transparency successfully on my MBP 15“ 2010 (6,2)! :)
(Using CoreUI + HIToolbox)

However, I wanted to point out a glitch I found in Safari:

here are the screenshots for the corner rendering issue. It basically only occurs when there's any type of transparency present and does not occur elsewhere. Also, iOS framework apps like news and stocks render in the ugly grey, thought id bring that up too. thanks for the great work though! enjoying the mod.

If NighOwl (https://nightowl.kramser.xyz) is installed and defined to autostart, the computer (MacbookPro 5,3) wont boot again after a shutdown.

After all that app is not the culprit, has I had the same problem again and this time without that installed. That means that my computer sometimes refuses to boot (and I have to recover the backup of HIToolbox and AppKit files to make it work again) and have no idea what's the cause.

first of all: again many thanks for making this super cool patch a reality! One quick question though: Especially on the spotlight search field there is a little glitch on the rounded corners. Also in Safari address bar menu. Normal system menus are fine. Is there something that can be done to make this look better?

It looks very good! I was hoping to find a solution for my MBP Late 2008, which is still my number one machine currently used.

Looks like bezels and/or corners are not rendered correctly.

In 10.14.1 the Sidebar selection is dark when inactive. Behavior or materials in SystemApperance.car (in the bundle) may have changed in 14.1

Requires more investigation.

I don't think this has been reported specifically: visual glitches in the help menu when you type something into the search box. (macOS 10.14.2, Hybrid Mode v1.4).

I am not getting any transparency using the Hybrid mode (HIToolBox+CoreUI).

Mid-2009 13" MBP 5,5 10.14.1 (18B75)
Without Reduced Transparency on, the light mode UI glitches are still apparent with no solid menu bar and grey sidebars.
EDIT: After uninstall and reinstall of the patches, no effects happen with or without transparency. Is there something I have to do to make the tweaked CoreUI or HIToolBox framework active?

After applying your patch, on my menubar there are a lot of unknown items.

On light mode, App Store sidebar are grey and ugly.

On light mode, stacks also have ugly grey anomalies.

Hope you can fix it. Can you add a little bit transparency on the menubar? It looks more beautiful with some transparency on menubar.

My apologies in advance if this has already been mentioned. I haven't been keeping very good track of the progress on this repo.

As you can see in this screenshot in the info page, the selected item appears dark.

Thanks for your great job. :)
Many parts are not highlighted in blue (or in color) : when I click in an icon on the right part of the Menubar, or when I select an app or file in Spotlight, or I select a link in Safari. It's "just" blank. Same when I select a conversation in Message app. It's the same in Dark or Light mode.
