Currently the app searches for a file with a default name. It would be better to open a query box in the middle of the window, offering to either open a file or proceed without data.

The steps would be

1. make sure the pyVFRendering package can be used without bugs
2. make sure the ovf package can be used without bugs
3. create a requirements.txt
4. create a setup.py which also builds nanogui
5. adapt the Readme, but retain instructions how to manually build everything

Hi I am connected via VNC viewer and trying to open spinviwer to access a FLIR Camera. When I try to open the spienviwer it give me the following message:
arning: (null) ((null):0, QXcbConnection: Failed to initialize XRandr)
Warning: (null) ((null):0, Qt: XKEYBOARD extension not present on the X server.)
/usr/bin/spinview: line 5: 18452 Segmentation fault (core dumped) ./SpinView_QT

Any idea what can prodece this error? Thanks
