Register addresses sent via data bus don't have protection for an overflow.
Possible solution:

Read only the lower log2N bits of the max 16. (that adds possibly unwanted wrapping if you're just incrementing addresses in assembly)

Ideas:

• A bouncing square that changes colors on a bounce (bouncing DVD logo)
• Bouncing square, but it changes colors every frame and doesn't delete the previous one, effectively making a rainbow snake :3
  • Decrement color of past squares for a fading tail (gets rid of disappearing squares once the GPU RAM fills up)
• Implement a random number generator (LFSR) and generate a bunch of colorful squares all over the screen
• Simple platformer game (animation)??
