lab.bootstrap-reason-react-app's Issues

Clone URL in PR #2

The clone URL dropped in a comment assumed my repo was called reason-todo-app but the repo was actually called my-reason-react-app.

It might be best to get the clone URL from the payload. In a pull_request event, the payload includes both a repo.ssh_url and repo.clone_url.

Next steps

Here's some ideas of how we could improve this course:

  • Integrate with Imandra AI
  • Default deployments to Now.sh instead of GH Pages
  • Create docs with BsDoc
  • Pick a CSS library

[Setup/1.5] Something went wrong

Please describe what issue you are having with this step, including the versions of VSCode, the Reason extension, Node, and feel free to include any screenshots and stacktraces you think could be useful

Make VSCode step optional

If people don't want to install that, and we shouldn't force them to, they can just run yarn run bsb -make-world.

Link to last issue broken

The link to the final issue in my PR was broken. It may be easiest to get the final issue's URL after the createIssue action that creates it, and then pass that URL to the respond action. This is also safer if the learner has opened extra issues (and so the final issue won't be the number we expect).

Testing stage unclear

As a relative newbie to React, it was unclear to me which file I should change to fix the failing test. I figure it out after the second try, but the bot didn't respond at all when I got it wrong. An else response in the gate for this step might help catch any unexpected changes.

Suggestion: why Reason?

To make this โœจ course even better, you might consider adding some explanations near the beginning, or in the course README defining Reason React and what it's used for.
