README

Heddle

Heddle

A lightweight, self-hostable workflow orchestrator that ships as a single binary.

Heddle schedules and runs workflows, survives restarts, and exposes a web UI and an HTTP API to watch runs, read logs, trigger and backfill, and manage job types. It is built on tasklet, an async cron-style scheduling kernel.

The name comes from weaving: a heddle guides the warp threads into the weave. Heddle guides and sequences the threads of your work.

Status

Early scaffold (Milestone M0). The workspace builds and ships a heddle binary; the scheduler, API, and UI are being built out. See the milestones in the design docs.
