Node.js Media Download Counter

This program counts media download requests in a MongoDB database, and then redirects request to a media file. This stops a cached WordPress site from spinning up PHP for a single database update.

Run Locally

Download 'Studio 3T' for MongoDB

Create 'media_downloads' MongoDB database

$ npm install

$ npm start

localhost:5000/can_pdf/abc.pdf

localhost:5000/csv_output/can_pdf
