NFIP Claims and Migration Flows

Attempts to map and model national flood insurance claims and county-to-county migration flows by US county by year Data provided by National Flood Insurance Program, FEMA disaster claims, US Census Bureau demographics. Research was completed as part of master's thesis with more scripts and figures to be uploaded.

Migration data courtesy of IRS county-to-county data with processing replication provided by Matt Hauer https://github.com/mathewhauer/irs-migration-replication

Repo contains R script for model runs of data as well as web map html that can be seen on portfolio website https://stefanrose.me/
