overeasy's Issues

Overeasy overlaps the keyboard/mouse connector on the macintosh LC II

When plugging the overeasy into the rear scsi connector of my performa 430, the overeasy covers the ADB port preventing you from plugging in a keyboard and mouse. I worked around that by getting a short male-female db25 straight through cable, but figured i'd make you aware of it as this affects pretty much all LC and performa macs in this housing and port layout

Incorrect routing on 3rd Party Over Easy //

I suppose this is not really an issue with your Over Easy //, but a problem I've encountered with one I acquired from Flamelily IT here in the UK. Apparently, on mine, Pin 25 of the DB25 was incorrectly routed to Pin 25 of the 50 pin connector. That's TERMPWR routed to GND! Here's a pic of mine...

It's a little hard to see - I did lift the entire trace to see where it went to (it 'blew' near the "E" in "OVER". it's now dangling, so out of focus, but it definitely connects with Pin 25 of the DB25. Also, you can see the other end of the trace going to Pin 25 (not 26) on the 50 Pin SCSI header.

It appears the trace gave up before any damage was caused to the Mac SE I was attempting to use it on... the external SCSI seems to work fine, but I haven't had a chance to check the internal - will do that this evening. I'm going to reach out to Flamelily IT, but thought you should be aware. Have you ever seen this before? I've checked the Gerbers for your V1 and V2, and both seem to route DB25 Pin 25 to Pin 26 on the header...
