UI based off of script - idea

While I was making a psych stage I noticed a setting called "stageUI": "" it used to be called pixel ui as a bool

This gave me an idea for this engine
what we create a new folder in assets/data/ui then we add a new stage variable called ui
if it returns with nil then it gets set to default

For example you would be able to change

Note Skins
Default note positions
Note Splashes

by using self.bar = "" in the create

this is also where the ui is made too so basically everything can be edited

Note: would be nice if it was a class and can be extended so you don't need to have the entire ui code every time but it would work with a script

Week 7 cutscene music continues during stage countdown

In Week 7 of the original game, the music that plays during the intro cutscene stops when the countdown and transition to gameplay begins.

In Friday Night Funkin' LOVE as of now (commit 4bb1b08), the music continues during the countdown.

I was wondering whether this was an intentional feature or a bug.

How to contribute?

I really like FNF-LOVE, so I would like to contribute my efforts towards the project. However, I can't seem to find a roadmap or todo's or other related things.
I was wondering how I could be able to contribute code to the project. That is, if the team will allow me to.

Random lag in various songs

On a few specific stages and on low/mid range hardware, the game runs at a slightly lower FPS (around 8-10 lower frames).

This might be happened because of how canvas handles the drawing for this kind of sure (not sure about that too).
