Many companies have at the bottom of their site a list of companies that use their service/product, this adds credibility to people/companies that might be interested in Storj. This is something Storj should consider adding to their website.

Hi,
Can someone give me a good link to where I can download a Storj wallet I've been trying to buy Storj for several months now and all I ever get is a totally blank page. I couldn't buy in at the ICO, I am really becoming frustrated and I can't seem to get it right. Anyone outthere that can direct me to a wallet, or a exchange where I can buy Ethereum or bitcoin then use that to buy Storj tokens?
It's kill'en me Cuz, kill'en me.......

Thanks,
Gary
These two URLs both work and seem to have the same contents. Or do they? I think it would be less confusing if there were only one URL for the docs section of the site
https://docs.storj.io/v1.0/docs
https://docs.storj.io/docs/
(I don't see the docs section here on github, but didn't know where else to report the "issue")
We have some community members that think they can still send ETH to the token sale address.
Adding something like a Thank You!
, The token sale has finished
would also help to avoid confusion.
I am interested in block chains.
I am trying to start a new business with this.
Distributed data storage technology is a representative technology of the block chain, people are focusing too much on virtualization closure.
I am confident that someday these technologies will emerge and grow into everyday life, including major government offices, businesses and individuals.
Very good at Korean. (EN <-> KR)
This technology should be especially famous in Korea.
The cost of storing distributed storage in Korea is too expensive, and many people do not know this technology.
If we release and promote this program in Korean, we will have a lot of users.
I would like to participate in Korean translation.
If possible, add a source for the translation.
I will request a pull.
As with other sites, it is recommended that you view the country information of your connection IP and automatically display it for your language.
Because these technologies are not intended to be found by people, the GUI part of a language or community program should be more easily and easily deployed.
If possible, add another language folder or set of languages for each language. (ex. en - *. js / en - *. js ... etc)
P.S. Really. You can translate Korean fluently and naturally. (ASAP)
The two options are:
The only way to win is not to play. When we get some time we can replace it with documentation on how to setup Storj Share.
Per tax law we need to collect a W8/W9 from a user before they exceed $600 in payouts. Below this limit the user filling out the from is completely voluntary. If they don't fill it out before the $600 in payouts we have to stop payouts and cut contracts until they have completed it.

My response
Free tier is FREE. Ok they need change info on site what about free tier limitations as if you upload 1GB=1073741824b + 67108864b (encryption)=1744830464b=1.67gb what you need to upload. So yea need change to size include encryption part too on website. But for paying customer its No limits they getting full 25GB storage without limits for 1 year for free.
I would like to make a PR. This looks like the old website. Where is the new one?
Its 2020 but copyright year at bottom is still shown as 2019
Clicking on it does nothing.
The component https://storj.io/get-paid-to-write.html is mentioning SJCX as payment option.
Added the latest article yesterday but the live site has not updated.
when following the HowTo:
https://docs.storj.io/docs/setting-up-storj-share-on-a-raspberry-pi
the collectd throws errors like:
Sep 25 18:31:45 storj collectd[1861]: -1 1 Type `contracts' isn't defined.
Sep 25 18:31:45 storj collectd[1861]: -1 1 Type `delta' isn't defined.
Sep 25 18:31:45 storj collectd[1861]: -1 1 Type `percentused' isn't defined.
adding this 3 lines to /usr/share/collectd/types.db
contracts value:GAUGE:0:U
delta value:GAUGE:0:U
percentused value:GAUGE:0:100
like the owner has stated (https://github.com/bobey/storj-collectd-plugin), resolves this issue and brings up another one:
Sep 25 18:36:24 storj influxd[1745]: 2017/09/25 18:36:24 unable to find "contracts" in TypesDB
Sep 25 18:36:24 storj influxd[1745]: 2017/09/25 18:36:24 unable to find "delta" in TypesDB
Sep 25 18:36:24 storj influxd[1745]: 2017/09/25 18:36:24 unable to find "percentused" in TypesDB
This is due to the typesdb
definition in /etc/influxdb/influxdb.conf
the correct entry should look like:
[[collectd]]
enabled = true
bind-address = ":25826"
database = "collectd_db"
typesdb = "/usr/share/collectd/"
Please correct the HowTo
Hello,
I've tried to subscribe to your waitlist, but the final step doesn't work for me.
I've filled the form, and received the email to finish subscription.
But when I'm going to the link it's always the page https://storj.io/sign-up-success :
Almost there!
Check your email and click to confirm you’ve joined the waitlist.
So I'm in a loop...
I don't know if my subscription really worked BTW.
Thanks if you have time to check that

As we start having developer options in multiple languages, we should reflect that on the /developers.html
page. We can include examples to start for C, Node.js and Ruby and expand it for mobile libraries that are in development.
Currently multiple mentions of our old address:
Storj Labs Inc. - 3423 Piedmont Road NE, Suite 550, Atlanta, Georgia, 30305, United States
Our correct and new address is:
Storj Labs Inc. - 3423 Piedmont Road NE, Suite 475, Atlanta, Georgia, 30305, United States
Users should get offered the right version of the storjshare-gui. I was offered the 32bit version even though I use 64bit Windows and my browser doesn't hide that.
Bitcoin users are very carefull. Some of them will check the team page for already know scammers. On https://storj.io/team.html they will find a link that looks compromised. https://storj.io/img/team/gordon-htp.gif
One user reported this on intercom. I am not sure what to. Lucky for me I only have to report this. You have to decide.
Do you plan on keeping this update to the current supplies and reserves? Adding addresses would be very helpful too.
Thanks
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to correctly "withdraw" my Storj tokens from an online cryptocurrency trading exchange and deposit them into my to my wallet IPhone BlockChain.info currency wallet?
Ok, I purchased some STORJ TOKENS ON THE EXCHANGE market, and I used Bitcoin to make the purchase of the Storj tokens on the trading exchange.
My purchase order shows ( BTC-STJ /# of Storj shares) I purchased and own in my crypto online exchange market wallet.
I assume the wallet in the trading exchange is a Bitcoin wallet there's a Bitcoin B on the wallet tab.
I am wanting to transfer my Storj tokens over to my IPhone,app/ BlockChain.info cryptocurrency wallet. My wallet says it will hold Bitcoin or Etherum.
If I bought the Storj tokens with Bitcoin in the online currency exchange using Bitcoin, what is the correct process that I need to use to withdraw my Storj tokens from the exchange over to my wallet?
Do I withdraw my Storj tokens from the cryptocurrency online exchange using the BlockChain.info/Bitcoin Address it to my BlockChain.info
Or do I withdraw the Stroj using the BlockChain Ether Address?
Or do I need to do something totally different to get my Storj tokens into my wallet?
And clarification on this issues would be a big help, I'm not going to move them till I know what the correct steps are for doing this process because if I don't do the steps required correctly, I will probably lose my Storj tokens all together.
Anybody had to deal with this type of issue before? What do I do?
Thanks,
Gary
It has come to our attention that a large number of farmers use the calculator here https://storj.io/pricing.html as a profitability calculator for farming, which is of course completely wrong. This has lead to heated discussions on rocketchat of farmers complaining that we are lying as the calculator states that they will receive much more. I think adding a line mentioning that the calculator is not for the farmers might help to avoid confusion.
