policies's Issues

I offer to host citizencodeofconduct.org

I think it's a good idea that the citizen code of conduct will be available to everyone, and I want to do my part to make this happen.

I can host a static website on AWS S3 and use the CloudFront. Also with HTTPS ;)

HTTPS for citizencodeofconduct.org

Would be great if the domain could be served over HTTPS/HSTS, providing integrity of the content. Relatively easy now on a number of hosting providers that support Let's Encrypt.

Section 7 of template tells you to add something "here or in section 7"

Those aren't different places. Typo? Here's the quote:

[NOTE: Every organization's governing policies should dictate how you handle warnings and expulsions of community members. It is strongly recommended that you mention those policies here or in Section 7 and that you include a mechanism for addressing grievances.]

Citizen Code of Conduct

I read through the Citizen Code of Conduct several times.

Do I understand correctly that if my community on my own server is discussing issues which another community may disagree with then my Lemmy can be shut down for violating Citizen Code of Conduct even if it's the result of unfounded persecution which has no basis in reality wholly founded on violating the free speech of my community?

The Citizen Code of Conduct reads like Lemmy is another go woke go broke bull**** artist social engineering pile of crap.
