This is my internship project. Main aims to create an REST API for Ayucare Management using Django REST Framework to perform operations to get post data. For database Mongodb is used.

Django

Djongo

Djongo is a SQL to mongodb query transpiler. It translates a SQL query string into a mongoDB query document. As a result, all Django features, models etc work as is

REST API

REST stands for representational state transfer and was created by computer scientist Roy Fielding

Ayucare Management: This is management system where we can get the details of products from Ayucare.and sell the products.

Prerequisite.

1. Python
2. Git

How to install and run the Application.

1. Install Python from the python website.

2. Install Virtual environment globally

$ pip install virtualenv

3. To Get Started, Fork the repository to your github account:

4. Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/SubramanyaKS/AyuCareManagement.git

5. Then install python django and all requirements:

pip install -r requirements.txt

6. Create the DB tables first, connect to it and migrate:

python manage.py makemigrations
python manage.py migrate

7. Create a Super User:

python manage.py createsuperuser 

8. Run the development web server:

python manage.py runserver

Open the URL http://localhost:8080/ to access the application.
