(Background-)Colors not working under Win 10?

Hi, Mr. Kent,

I really don't have an idea if this a problem with RibbonUI, Sunburst-Wrapper or Windows 10, but, when trying to set the colors under Windows 10, the background color of the Ribbon itself won't change.

In the Application Menu, yes, but not for the Ribbon area itself.

Runtime exception: `Ribbon resource DLL exists but could not be loaded.`

Hello,

I tried to build a simple demo project, an empty form containing an empty ribbon (...also tried to modify an existing project that makes use of the original RibbonLib without success, too).

When running the project I get an exception while the form is created:

Ribbon resource DLL exists but could not be loaded.

Environment:

  • Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition
  • Windows 10 (German)

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be highly appreciated!

Debug-Messages on .net DefaultTraceListener

Hi William,

currently I'm using a DefaultTraceListener for debugging and logging purposes in my Application. Using your Ribbon it gets filled with UpdateProperty key and Execute verb-Messages.

This was already the case while I used the original components by Arik Poznanski and Bernhard Elbl, aka Ribbon.dll. It's not a big problem, but perhaps you could take a look at it.

Most of these messages are generated when starting the Application, however, some get fired later. The Debug: 00:44:47- and Scope: 00:44:46-Messages are my own, just for your Knowledge.
