vlc-2.2.1.32-2013's Introduction

README for the VLC media player
===============================

VLC is a popular libre and open source media player and multimedia engine,
used by a large number of individuals, professionals, companies and
institutions. Using open source technologies and libraries, VLC has been
ported to most computing platforms, including GNU/Linux, Windows, Mac OS X,
BSD, iOS and Android.
VLC can play most multimedia files, discs, streams, allows playback from
devices, and is able to convert to or stream in various formats.
The VideoLAN project was started at the university École Centrale Paris who
relicensed VLC under the GPLv2 license in February 2001. Since then, VLC has
been downloaded close to one billion times.

vlc-2.2.1.32-2013's Issues

Building error

Hi:
I just downloaded your code and tried to build with VS2013. But I get this below error message
"VLC media player could not start. Either the command line options were invalid or no plugins were found"

I can see "--media-library" command goes into function but somehow it returns null and fails to build.
So I wonder if I need to install additional package to build your files.

Thanks in advance

64bit build

Dear
First of all, I really appreciate for this great thing.

We are now trying to turn this thing into 64bit mode, but failed.

Please, could you tell us how to build vlc for 64bit windows mode, or could you make the visual studio solution for 64bit mode?

Thank you.

winvlc.exe would not run missing command line options or no plugins

Hi
Thanks for this project.
I compiled the project in visual 2013
tried to run and got the error that
VLC media player could not start
Either the command line options were invalid or no plugins were found

when copying the winvlc.exe to the "c:\program files(x86)\videolan\vlc" folder it loaded

Do I have to set some path on the computer, or do I need to compile another dll?

I would be happy if you can help me
I want to run and use the debugger.

Thanks
