A Docker control (web) panel to manage containers easily

Elranet

A simple docker webpanel, based on express and dockerode.

Installing

You will need

• docker and its daemon
• screen (to run the daemon in background and keep it running)
• nodejs >= 12

Then run the usual npm i.

You will need to create a .env base on the provided .env.example. Nota bene: the PASS field is the sha256 of the password.

Run the interface using node main.js, it will start on localhost:3000.

Contributing

• First, fork the repository
• Then, clone your fork: git clone [email protected]:username/elranet.git
• Create a branch for your feature: git checkout -b feat-my-awesome-idea
• When you're done, push it to your fork and submit a pull request!

Add more information about docker on /docker

I put the bare minimum here, maybe other people will need more

Add possibility to pull an image from the docker hub

The dropdown with the username isn't right aligned and I don't know why

When killing a container, the server takes a lot of time to send its answer (ok/error)

May be related to the docker daemon and dockerode

But in the end the container is still killed

When starting a container with dockerode, it's started in the same TTY as the node process

Thus when attaching a TTY, it's blocking the node process, thus the server
