ryumodmanager's Issues

Problem with parless.asi

Hey I appreciate your mod manager so much, I think it's helpful but I have this problem that bothering me.
When I open up Yakuza0.exe with ryu mod manager installed (already follow all instructions right) it show an error "microsoft c++ assertion failed, parless.asi line 22 etc" - I've tried several methods like uninstall all vcredist and install it again, I'm a newbie and thank you!

Errors in the source code

Hey in ModLoadOrder.cs line 40
I get this error:

Argument 1: cannot convert from 'System.IO.FileStream' to 'Yarhl.IO.DataStream' [ModLoadOrder]

also in the same file (line 93 for example) and in other files I get this error:

Argument 2: cannot convert from 'System.IO.SeekOrigin' to 'Yarhl.IO.SeekMode' [ModLoadOrder]

how can I fix these errors?

I have all the libraries working I believe...

How to update the manager?

I had version 1.7 installed and I'm trying to get 2.1 to work but whenever I run the new Mod Manager it says something about an external mods folder being detected and having to run it in CLI mode. I haven't deleted the old version yet by the way because I wasn't sure if I should. What can I do to fix this?

Thanks

No "mods folders"

I was trying to install a moveset mod for Kiwami 2 and the Installing Mods instructions say to move it to the "mods" folder in the game's directory but no such folder seems to exist. Also, when I run the Mod Manager, only two of the new files show up, as the other "mods" folder is absent. This is my first time modding, can anyone help explain what I might be doing wrong?

Cant see full mod name

Some mod names go well beyond the the GUI and scrolling seems excessive if the GUI height and width can be adjusted by a user

Yakuza 6 wont start

Tried with patches and without and same rezult. It just hangs in task manager with 20mb. Can't try with older versions since you delete them.

Binary Domain support?

I haven't seen any talk about it here on github and it seems to use the same engine. Would it be possible?

2.0 exe got flagged by antivirus

So I downloaded the new .exe and it and the .asi got flagged by Norton. Now I know Norton is kind of shit but still, a flag's a flag.
Just a consideration.
fuck you norton

GOG Version Support

From what I've tried, attempting to use the mod manager with the GOG version of Yakuza Kiwami 2 throws an unsupported version error. While mods are listed, the game never loads them in.

Help

I'm pretty new at modding. But every time I load up the game I always get this error called "Assertion Failed." With an expression: "countMatches." Any solution?

Ryu doesn't even make it start up

I installed a few mods on Nexus, but whenever I try to start up Yakuza 0, It doesn't even start up no matter how I try. anyone know the solution?

[Question/Request] Cross-platform support

Hey there, are there any plans to support other operating systems such as GNU+Linux or MacOS?
I'm not very experienced with programming but since it's written in C# is it possible to compile and run it under Linux?
Just curious, that's all.

I need help.

I added mods, it says that they're added and all that, but when I open the game, the mods are nowhere to be seen, any help?

GamePass(insiderUpdate)

Hello. I'm fairly new to these things and am at a lost on as of how to fix this error. I'm playing the GamePass version but Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 1 have worked flawlessly with your manager. Kiwami 2 does not however work, so the only method for me to Mod it is manually placing and replacing (using ParTool/Parc-Archive-Importer) downloaded mods from Nexus. Is there any possible way you could fix this? and BTW xbox app (insider) on PC now allows you to download games wherever you choose and allows file editing so that is big. The manual method I'm using is time consuming and sometimes a hit and miss so although not being able to use RMM for Kiwami 2 is a small inconvenience, It still would be awesome to have things automated with your handy tool again. Thanks for taking the time if any to read this.

Kiwami2-Assertion Failed
Kiwami2-BreakpointTriggered
Kiwami2-ExceptionThrown
Kiwami2-ExceptionUnhandled
Kiwami2-Files

Access is denied (xbox pc launcher, insider update)

in the latest version of the mod manager whenever i try to launch RMM it says that access is to the specified game folder is denied as shown in the screenshot below
unknown-9
i tried running it as an administrator but all i get is the same result.
I tried running the game to see if the mods work and it gives me this error (in the previous version of the MM it used to give me the assertion fail error, so this maybe is a step forward)
error
and when i close the game it doesnt shut well and keeps running in background
runn
any ideas on how can i fix this ?
Thanks.
