能不能增加向上翻页、向下翻页的功能按键设置啊？
向下翻页的功能倒是可以用空格键代替，就是向上翻页的功能比较麻烦，键盘上的pageup离空格键太远，不方便操作。希望能够增加一个向上翻页的功能键。

HI, i cannot for the life of me figure out the correct abbreviation to add to assign the backspace key as the back 1 page button, its the only reason for needing this extension so i am hoping it i possible please?

I have tried

(bind "bksp" 'history-back)
(bind "BS" 'history-back)
(bind "backspace" 'history-back)
(bind "bkspc" 'history-back)

Any advice would be much appreciated

It would be nice to be able to pick the location of the config file. For instance, it might be desirable for a user to put the config file in the firefox profile. That way it is easier to sync with Dropbox, etc.

I'd like to use page down to nextpage-maybe, but I have the most difficult time finding the correct emacs key name, if it is even supported in this extension?

Also, is it possible to add previouspage and previouspage-maybe functions? Often a google search ends up in the middle of a thread and being able to browse the previous pages would be most useful.

Bindings using the Ctrl key don't seem to work: after defining them (then saving, and reloading the page), pressing them simply does nothing.

I thought I'd like Ctrl+Space for unconditionally going to the next page, but couldn't get it to work (I tried both with and without pointy brackets). I then discovered that nor I could I get any other "C-" binding to work:

(bind "C-SPC" 'nextpage)
(bind "<C-SPC>" 'nextpage)
(bind "C-y" 'nextpage)
(bind "C-." 'nextpage)

All of the above behave just the same as if I hadn't set them. nextpage works fine with the default N key, or if bound to an unmodified key, such as ..

History-back(p) not always working properly. If you're using (n) or (SPC) for next page, everything fine, but if you click on next page personally, than (p) sometimes not working. So on most non supported language sites, its has issues. And, in my opinion, it should work always, like (Backspace) or Alt+← now.
I had https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/backspace-to-go-back/nlffgllnjjkheddehpolbanogdeaogbc this extension before this app and its working properly, maybe you can find some hints in it?

when working in wordpress admin console, every time I type "p" the browser goes 
one page back. quite inconvenient.

if the addon could have enable/disable option or list for web pages, it would 
help a lot (I did encounter that problem on few websites)

to add it, if there is no other way to find a next page.

Only the system configuration takes effect，Nothing else came into effect.

to go to previous page. If one accidentaly presses space afterwards (such as in 
fast typing), the message is lost and discarded. VERY annoying!

If I disable addon, it's OK.

I would prefer to have option of just N key binding or selecting if I want both 
P/N or just one of them.

Hello, I don't have any other way of contacting you, I'm using your extension but the only key I need is the space key and the p key is constantly in the way. Is there a way to disable any other shortcuts besides the spacebar? If so how?

Not sure if you are interested in supporting the Pale Moon browser (fork of Firefox), but reporting in case:

With Pale Moon 26.3.3 (and probably earlier versions), the addon installs but has no effect - looking at Preferences, there is no config file specified or built-in config, and while you can specify a user config and save/dismiss the form, bringing it back up again shows that the configuration hasn't been saved - nothing is there.

With Firefox, 'Config File' and 'Built-In Config' are populated.

The shortcut should not take effect when the user is typing in a text box

I frequent a private (for me at least) phpbb board, where nextpage used to work 
great to move to the next page. With v1.3.8, this stopped working.

I have looked into this and found that you commented out checking of 'a' tags 
in line ~495 of nextpage.js - the forum does not assign the 'next' class to the 
links, so detecting the following fails:

<a href="./viewtopic.php?f=5&t=xxxx&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=30">Next</a>

Restoring this functionality allows me to move around threads again.

When I enabled debugging, I found that nextpage.debug.show was throwing errors 
- 'TypeError: can't convert Proxy to string' - wrapping the 
'dirResult.push([prop, obj[prop]].join(': '));' line in a try/catch worked 
around this.

It would be super cool if we could put Prefetch and/or Prerender on the Next Page links. This would increase the speed of the loading of the next page.

I bookmarked your extension's page on addons.mozilla.org back in 2011. But, for some reason I ended up using SpaceNext, which is now defunct. Then, after Firefox Quantum slowly killed off old extensions, I found some alternative, which is now also defunct.

Thanks for sticking with it all these years. Thanks for providing—and continuing to provide, through all the WebExtension trials and tribulations—the most obvious missing functionality in all of the World Wide Web… actually using link rel="next" for its intended purpose.

Pressing Space at the bottom of the page doesn't trigger going to the next page. Pressing N goes to the next page, as expected, so the problem doesn't seem to be with working out what the next page is, but with establishing that I am actually at the bottom of the page.

In the case of the mailing list archive, that link is to the 5th post in the thread. Using Space works perfectly for navigating from the 1st post in the thread to the 2nd, then on to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th; it's only having reached the 5th message that it suddenly declines to proceed farther. And if you press N to go to the 6th message, Space then happy navigates on to the 7th.
