Thanks for the fast reply. I got it working without too much problems, it really is a nice piece of software and super easy to set up, thanks for that. Though I have one isse; I watched a video with hectic scene changes from colorful to completely black and after switching to the black screen the LED's would stay lit in the colors from the image(s) before. Is this a known issue or specific to the WS2801?

Regarding black screens, there is a twist :

SynLight/SynLight/Model/Process_SynLight.cs

if (black)

If the screen goes totally black for 5 frames, a dimmed white payload is sent.
I used this back in the days when in-game screenshots were not supported (the captured frame appeared black), so as to not have the LEDs just off. I guess that it could be removed today, commenting the whole "If the screen is black" region.

I think that this behavior is what is preventing having the LEDs totally off, and I believe there is currently no way of turning off the LEDs apart from a static color.
