I couldn't find the maximum supported leds for the nodemcu and the neopixel lib.
Does someone knows?
Any info of the ratio number leds and refresh rate?

I'm actually thinking of making a mod for my projector screen (lumene 240c) so about 7.4meters of led strip and for easy calculation of leds a 100 led/m ws2812b strip.
I made quite some years ago a 512 led panel with fastleds that was going quite fast but i'm wondering if running around 740 leds would be possible with a correct refresh rate.

Je suis tombé par hasard sur votre développement. Bravo !

Malheureusement, Synlight ne fonctionne pas. Ma carte nodeMCU ne reçoit pas d'information de Synlight. Pour tenter de trouver l'origine du problème, j'ai installé sur mon téléphone Android l'App UDP sender/receiver. AU message UDP n'est envoyé par Synlight alors que si je simule l'envoi d'un message UDP depuis le PC sur la même adresse IP et le même port, je reçois bien le message sur le téléphone.
J'ai vérifié plusieurs fois le fichier txt de configuration mais ne vois aucune erreur. Pourriez-vous m'aider ?

I'm highly confused by the settings in the programm...

How is each setting meant?

The wiki didn't gave me an answer.

What's X and Y, I put the number of leds in width and height, but that doesn't seem to be right.

This part in the Serial window also confuses me, is the number 34 meant to be the number of leds in my setup ?

Lorsque je lance Synlight, la valeur de X n'est pas importée du fichier de paramètres. J'ai essayé plein de valeurs différentes, de changer la position dans les paramètres ou changer X/x, mais rien n'y fait, elle reste à 18 au lancement. Pourtant tous les autres paramètres sont biens importés.
Je peux quand même la changer à la volée ensuite, mais c'est pas très pratique.

En tout cas, félicitation et merci pour tout le travail que tu partage gentiment ;)

SynLight.exe not gonna show up when I put my IP on config file (I have already uncomment the "show" function)
Arduino serial monitor did show up the Ping Pong
Packet of size : 5
Received : Ping header
Received : Ping command
Answering -> [pong]
but after this. Application didnt start so no more data to the Esp8266

I have a problem using a bunch of laptop + TV. On the background on the TV, I have YouTube or serials, and I'm working behind a laptop. So, how can I choose a TV for reading the image?

Merci pour ton super programme, fonctionne bien.
Cependant, je rencontre un soucis pour le nombre de leds maximal en X. J'ai une bande de led WS2812 et 255 leds
J'ai 82 leds en X et 47 en Y hors on ne peut mettre que 49 leds en X ou Y, est-ce une limitation logicielle volontaire ? ton programme ne peux pas gerer 255 leds ?

Hi, nice work thus far! Do you only support the WS2812B or is it possible to adjust the arduino code to be able to run with a WS2801 strip (this one has an extra clock line)? Is changing the initialization of the FastLED to FastLED.addLeds<WS2801, DATA_PIN, CLOCK_PIN>(leds, NUM_LEDS); and adjusting my CLOCK_PIN accordingly all I have to do? Thanks in advance!

I tried started SynLight on my desktop but process not started.
I have macbook, and install windows 10 :))) same version (rev 18363.693) - SynLight.exe started without problem.
