Input:

Variable	Type	Description	Example
subtemplate	string	A simple template.	'Mary had a { adjective } { animal }.'
subtemplate_vars	object	Values that are used in expansion.	{ 'adjective': 'little', 'animal': 'lamb' }

Output:

expanded_subtemplate	string	The expanded template.	'Mary had a little lamb.'
